ROBEN is a young Franco-Austrian artist designer. He got known with his first exhibition in Milan, selected for the prestigious Salone Satellite in 2012 by Marva Griffin. This allowed him then to expose in Paris, London plus other european cities, and to collaborate in particular with Lidewij Edelkoort, Rubelli, and recently be curated by Rossana Orlandi at the National Museum of Decorative Arts, Madrid

For him Furniture reflects an epoch, a trend and even more an ‘art of life‘ a life philosophy.
In a more general way Roben works with nature to achieve functional, poetic and intercultural objects. Interested by cultures and their symbols, he tries in an artistic demarche, to create objects more aware on time passing and our society’s interculturality evolving between past, present and future.
